Terms of Service

The conditions that govern your use of this website and the services we provide. Please read before booking.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website, submitting a quote or placing a booking with TAGline General Transport-Sole Prop LLC, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service together with any signed service agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Our services

We provide transport & logistics services across the United Arab Emirates and the GCC, including:

  • Passenger transport (staff routes, school runs, event shuttles, executive coaches).
  • Heavy cargo transport (flatbeds, low-beds, oversize / project cargo).
  • Logistics & freight (container haulage, customs clearance, bonded warehousing, last-mile distribution).
  • Equipment rental (forklifts, wheel loaders, telehandlers, cranes, scissor lifts).
  • Fleet leasing (long-term lease of vans, pickups, SUVs and trucks with optional driver management).

Specific scope, deliverables, SLAs and pricing for each engagement are set out in the quote or service agreement signed by both parties.

3. Quotes & bookings

Quotes are issued in writing (email, WhatsApp or signed PDF) and are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information you provide; we reserve the right to revise the quote if actual scope, dimensions, weight or routing differs materially from what was declared.

A booking is confirmed only upon written acceptance of the quote by an authorised representative of the Customer and (where applicable) receipt of advance payment per Section 4.

4. Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • One-time jobs are payable 50% on booking and 50% on delivery, or in full before dispatch for jobs under AED 5,000.
  • Recurring routes and project contracts are invoiced monthly in arrears, payable Net-30 from invoice date.
  • Long-term lease contracts are billed monthly in advance, payable by the 5th of each month.
  • Late payments may attract interest of 1% per month, calculated daily, plus reasonable collection costs.
  • All prices are quoted in AED and exclusive of 5% UAE VAT unless stated otherwise.

5. Cancellations & changes

Customer-initiated cancellations are charged:

  • More than 48 hours before dispatch — no charge.
  • 24 to 48 hours before dispatch — 25% of quoted value.
  • Less than 24 hours, or after vehicle is dispatched — 100% of quoted value.

Changes to scope (route, date, vehicle type, headcount) requested after booking confirmation may incur revised pricing and are subject to availability.

6. Liability & insurance

We carry comprehensive third-party motor insurance, cargo insurance up to declared value (per consignment limits apply), and public liability insurance as required by UAE law. Certificates are available on request.

Our maximum liability for any single claim is limited to the lesser of (a) the value of the affected service or shipment, or (b) AED 500,000, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages including loss of profit, business interruption or reputational harm.

7. Customer obligations

The Customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information at the quote stage (origin, destination, weight, dimensions, special requirements).
  • Ensure cargo is properly packed, labelled and ready for loading at the agreed pickup time.
  • Obtain and maintain any export, import or site-access permits not explicitly included in our scope.
  • Make site safe for our vehicles, drivers and equipment during loading and unloading.
  • Pay invoices according to the agreed terms.

8. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, road closures, port strikes, or fuel-supply disruption. Where possible, we will reschedule the affected service at no additional charge.

9. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi Courts.
