TAGline has officially opened its 15,000 square-metre bonded warehouse at the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), bringing container haulage, customs clearance, racked storage and last-mile distribution under a single accountable roof for the first time in the company's 18-year history.
The new facility — operational since 18 May 2026 — closes the loop on a service gap that customers have been asking us to fill since 2021: a one-vendor option for moving a sealed container from the port to its final consignee, without the typical handoff chain of three or four separate providers.
Why this matters
For most importers, a container moving from Khalifa Port or Jebel Ali to a UAE distribution centre passes through at least four different sets of hands: a port operator, a customs broker, a haulier, and a warehouse provider. Each handoff costs time, paperwork and money — and each one is a place where things can go wrong.
By bringing all four functions in-house, we've cut the typical port-to-door turnaround from 72 hours to 48, eliminated three sets of separate invoices, and given customers a single tracking dashboard from the moment the ship docks until the goods arrive at their warehouse door.
"We've watched our clients juggle three or four vendors to move a single container for the last decade. JAFZA gives us the footprint to finally fix that. One contract, one invoice, one phone number." — Aisha Al Marri, Chief Operating Officer
What the facility includes
- 15,000 sqm bonded & non-bonded storage — racked, palletised and floor-stack zones for FMCG, electronics, project cargo and bulk dry goods
- 4 cross-dock bays for inbound-to-outbound flow under 24 hours, perfect for retail-replenishment cycles and promo events
- On-site customs clearance desk with Dubai Trade integration — clearance documents filed before the truck arrives at the gate
- 16 reefer ports for temperature-controlled cargo holding between port and last-mile delivery
- Direct access to JAFZA road network — eliminating the typical 4-hour detour for non-Jebel-Ali-based logistics partners

What's next
The JAFZA hub is the first of three planned regional consolidation centres. Phase two will add a sister facility at Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD) in Q4 2026, closing the loop for shipments coming through Abu Dhabi's container port. Phase three, scheduled for late 2027, will add a Northern Emirates node — most likely at Sharjah's Hamriyah Free Zone — to serve the industrial cluster around Ajman, RAK and Fujairah.
For customers, the practical impact is immediate: any container booked through TAGline for delivery in the Dubai metro area will route through JAFZA by default starting June 1st. No changes are required to existing service agreements.
